You Don’t Have to Choose Between an Adventurous Elopement and Celebrating with Family

If the personal experience of an adventurous elopement speaks to your soul, however, you can’t imagine getting married without your closest family members by your side: you don’t have to compromise on your dreams or your values

You can have both!

A bride and groom hold hands and walk together on their elopement day with their family following behind them.

Because choosing to elope doesn’t necessarily mean you want to get married alone.

This is going to be one of the most important days of your life, and you should be surrounded by those who

love you the most

Three Ways You Can have an Adventurous elopement and still include Family:

01.

Have a 2-day elopement to spend a full day making memories with your family and the other day with just the two of you, adventuring in your own, meaningful way.

02.

Spend half of your elopement day embracing your wild sides and using the rest of the day to spend quality time with your loved ones.

03.

Going on an adventure everyone can partake in, like exploring a National Park or picnicking in the woods to celebrate with the people you love most in a meaningful way.

Eloping Puts You in Control of your day

You’re not getting caught up chasing down the “perfect” day, but rather, a day that is…

  • Filled with making beautiful memories with the people you love most.
  • Focused on the true meaning of the day (aka your commitment to each other.)
  • Full of things you love, like spending time in nature & quality time with loved ones.
  • 100% about the two of you, the way it should be.

Breaking free from tradition is liberating, but it also leaves you to carve your own path.

Idaho Elopement Photographer Reviews

“My wife and I had an elopement style wedding at a state park in Idaho with Tiana as our photographer. She beautifully captured all of the important moments, family and group photos, and more, despite it being a very fast paced wedding with tight time constraints. And she did it all seemingly with ease! She was very professional and had a sweet and calming presence that my wife and I really appreciated with all the stresses of the wedding, and all of the photos turned out absolutely stunning. We highly recommend Tiana to everyone!”

“Tiana is an amazing photographer! It’s clear how much she cares about her craft and the people she works with. She hosted a couple calls before our big day to get a sense for who we are and which moments we wanted to capture most. On the day of our wedding, she arrived early, was extremely kind and friendly to everyone, and somehow managed to always be at the right spot at the right time. She then did a fantastic job editing our photos to create images we will cherish for life. If you are looking for a first class photographer in this area, my wife and I highly recommend choosing Tiana. You’ll be glad you did!”

“Tiana was great to work with from the very beginning. She helped with a lot of planning for our Yellowstone elopement and had a ton of great suggestions and ideas. Everything she did made our wedding day perfect – scouting out locations, weather updates, flexibility, creativity, great with our family and friends, etc. We received sneak peak photos within 12 hours of our coverage ending and they were exactly what we were hoping they’d be. We’re so excited to see the rest! Thanks, Tiana, for capturing our special day so perfectly! Can’t wait to make it back out west for another session :)”

Frequently Asked Questions about Eloping

I specialize in helping couples plan adventurous elopements and help take a lot of the stress of planning away by helping with location scouting, scheduling their day, providing a customized packing list, and more. Most couples spend between $5000-$10,000 on their elopement. You can decide to spend as much or as little as you want on your elopement experience, depending on what kind of experience you want to have.

This depends on the kind of scenery you want to surround yourself in! I provide all of my couples with custom location recommendations based on what they want their day to feel like. You don’t have to know an exact location before you reach out because I can help you narrow down a location. Learn more about elopement locations here.

Elopement photographers tend to cost more than traditional wedding photographers because we include a lot of planning and additional services in our packages. A good elopement photographer is going to be able to help you with locations, navigating permits, and guide you throughout your planning process and will typically cost between $5000-$10,000.

Absolutely! This is an incredibly important day, and for some couples it wouldn’t be complete without their loved one’s by their side. I love working with couples that want to bring a handful of their closest relationships with them on their elopement day!

June through September is generally the best time to elope in Idaho, unless you’re looking for a magical winter experience, then January and February will be the best time. July and August are going to be the warmest and driest time of year, however, the shoulder seasons are great because there will be more greenery and less crowds.
