Coeur d’Alene Wedding Venues Guide

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is known for its sparkling lake and surrounding mountains. It’s a year-round destination for travel and weddings, thanks to its natural beauty and ease of getting married.

Wondering what the best wedding venues are in Coeur d’Alene? How about what they cost? Or the best time of year for an outdoor wedding in the Idaho Panhandle? As a North Idaho local and wedding professional, I’m going to guide you to the best wedding and reception venues in North Idaho.

How Much are Coeur d’Alene Wedding Venues?

You can find wedding venues in Coeur d’Alene for all budgets, ranging from $300 for DIY weddings at State Parks to $10,000+ for luxurious wedding venues and every price point in between.

Every wedding venue has something different to offer, so it’s important to figure out what you need in a venue before you start looking.

Here’s What You Should Be Looking at When Evaluating Wedding Venues:

  1. Venue cost
  2. Availability
  3. Venue Style and Decor
  4. Maximum Capacity
  5. Weather
  6. Privacy
  7. Amenities

While having and keeping to a budget is important, don’t make price the only deciding factor when choosing your venue. Lower-cost options are great, but often come with a trade-off, such as aesthetic or more work to bring in your own equipment.

When Should You Book Your Coeur d’Alene Wedding Venue?

The sooner the better! If you’ll be planning a big wedding and want to get married between June and August, then you’ll probably need to book one to two years in advance, as most wedding venues book up popular weekends at least this far in advance.

If you’ll be planning a smaller or less traditional wedding, then you have more flexibility when it comes to the timing. But I always recommend planning at least six months in advance.

As an elopement photographer from Coeur d’Alene, I love working with couples to plan their intimate weddings here! If you need someone who knows the area inside and out to help you plan an incredible, stress-free wedding experience, then send me a message. I’d love to hear from you and help you make your wedding the best day ever!

Happy eloping!
