I’m so excited to share this styled shoot in Spokane from November! This was a collaboration with local artists and vendors to bring to life a concept I had been dreaming of. My vision was to create a moody and romantic elopement shoot during blue hour with lanterns as a magical accent, and the final results were so much better than I had envisioned!
The original plan for this shoot was to shoot at one of my favorite mountain locations here in Idaho, but we had some unforeseen circumstances force us to change locations to Riverside State Park instead. Even though that wasn’t the original plan, I think it was exactly what this shoot needed.
We were able to get there right at the end of sunset (though it was so cloudy there wasn’t much sun to see setting) and we were quickly pulled into blue hour, which was exactly what I had envisioned for this shoot anyways. I was excited to play with these lanterns.
And oh my goodness, these photos turned out so beautifully!
I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful people who collaborated with me on this project! Everyone was absolutely amazing to work with!
The dress for this shoot was provided by Cloud Nine Bridal and was absolutely perfect for this shoot! If you’re looking for your perfect wedding dress, I can’t recommend Cloud Nine Bridal enough! They’re a local bridal shop in downtown Coeur d’Alene, and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with the owner for several years, and she always goes above and beyond with each of her clients! Her shop carries dresses in a variety of styles and price ranges as well as offers in house alterations.
