Being a local in the Northwest and an outdoor enthusiast means I know this region like the back of my hand. I’ve lived in Idaho and been exploring it since 2018. I grew up in Western Washington, and I’ve spent more days in Yellowstone than I can remember, exploring its mountains, rivers, and valleys, which feel like home to me.

Throughout your elopement experience, I’ll be by your side, providing you with location guidance (like the best views you won’t find online and the best time of day to avoid potential crowds), being your personal tour guide on your elopement day, and your planning partner. And I’ll document every last moment in beautiful photos for you to keep forever!

I’m an Idaho local of 7+ years, was born and raised in Western Washington (I lived there for 21 years), and I have spent weeks of time in Wyoming exploring and learning the area.

Unique Location Ideas & Recommendations for Every Part of Your Day – You’ll receive a custom location guide to the best locations for every part of your day, including the best ceremony locations, viewpoints, hiking trails, picnic spots, etc., all tailored to what you want to include in your day.
A Custom-Made Timeline for Your Elopement Day – Once you know all of the fun things you want to include in your day, I’ll organize your day by creating a timeline with enough time to get from point A to point B with plenty of time to relax along the way. Plus, I’ll give you my best recommendations for when to take portraits to get the best lighting and the least amount of crowds.
Permit Guidance – Many beautiful locations require permits, but don’t worry, I’m here to help walk you through the entire process! I’ll provide you with information about permits for your location, like if they’re needed in the first place, and if they are, step-by-step instructions for how to apply for yours.
Marriage License Instructions – I’ll send you step-by-step instructions for getting your marriage license. I’ll include information like the nearest office to your elopement location, when you need to apply, and if you need to have witnesses present to sign your license.
Officiant Service (if needed) – As an ordained officiant, I can sign your marriage license in most U.S. states, so you don’t have to stress about adding another person to your day.
An Elopement Packing List, Custom-Tailored to Your Experience – Custom-tailored to your adventure, your packing list will cover specific gear for your day, all of the important items, and details for your elopement that you don’t want to forget (like your marriage license!)

Candid Photography to Capture Your Day – The majority of your day will be captured candidly, meaning you two do your own thing while I hang out in the background documenting every last detail. This won’t feel like an all-day photoshoot, because it’s not. This is your wedding day!
Posing Guidance Throughout Your Elopement – When we do posed portraits, I’ll walk you through everything you need to look amazing and have fun in front of the camera.
Access to My Elopement Emergency Kit – I always come prepared, and I’ll bring along my elopement emergency kit, which includes essentials like extra layers, a sewing kit, lanterns, and more, so we’re prepared for whatever the day throws our way.

Frequently Asked Questions about Eloping with me

This will depend on which package you decide on, but it will be around 50-75 photos for every hour of coverage you book. That means for a 6 hour elopement you’ll receive at least 300 images and for a 12 hour elopement you’ll receive at least 600 images. I don’t withhold any good images from your day, so you’ll be receive ALL of the beautiful photos from your elopement experience, fully edited, no matter which package you choose!

That will depend on the location you decide to elope in and the specific rules and regulations. I will help walk you through researching and applying for permits if they’re needed for your location!

My planning assistance includes a list of customized location recommendations based on your own wants and needs for your day, create a timeline for your day, sending you vendor recommendations if you need them, permit assistance, and anything else that you need help researching for your day (such as lodging or food recommendations). Basically, if you need it for your day, I’ll help you find it! You’ll have direct access to me via phone, text, or email so you can reach out in whatever way works best for you throughout the planning process as things come up.

Yes! I can help you find the perfect location for your day, whether you have a general idea of where you want to elope or just know the kind of scenery you want. Location scouting is my specialty and is included in all of my elopement packages! I can also help you decide on a date, if you don’t already have one picked out, to make sure you get the best weather.

You’ll receive a set of edited sneak peek images within 7 days of your big day and the rest of your photos will be delivered to you within 12 weeks of your elopement date.

Your photos will be delivered digitally through an online gallery, which you can share with anyone you want. You’ll have access to this gallery for 3 months to download your photos to your own storage, as well as access my professional print shop to order the highest quality prints of your photos.

The earlier the better! You don’t need to have your whole day planned out (or really any of it!) before you reach out! I’m here to help as much as you need throughout the planning process.

I know that a full-day elopement might sound like a lot at first, but trust me, as an elopement photographer and planner, more time is the key to a more relaxed day. That’s why my smallest package is 4 hours, but most couples end up booking at least 8 hours of coverage. I can help you decide how much time you need on your free consultation call as well as walk you through what a full-day elopement might look like.
