Meet Your Micro-Wedding + Elopement Photographer, Tiana
Your wedding day is one of, if not the most important, days of your life. And I don’t want you to feel like you have to perform for the camera.
That’s why I specialize in candid photos. So you can focus on each other, the loved ones you’re celebrating with, and the joy of the day. And I’ll be on the sidelines photographing every moment so you can relive this beautiful day over and over again.
P.S. I help couples elope across the Northwest, including Idaho, Wyoming, & Montana.
I have some strong beliefs about weddings that some might even call controversial.
While I am not married myself, I have been part of many weddings as a sister, Maid of Honor, and photographer. And I’ve come to have some pretty strong beliefs around weddings.
01. Your wedding day is about you, no one else
Which means you should be allowed to include or exclude any traditions, details, or activities you want in your day. No judgment here. Only support to make this day special and meaningful.
02. This day is meant to be celebrated with your inner-most circle
I think being intentional with who you invite makes the day more special. Because then you’re celebrating with the people who play an active role in your lives and who will be by your side as you begin this next chapter together.
03. There’s no wrong way to celebrate
Bring the dogs, watch the sunset, or play board games together. This is your day, and you should celebrate it in a way that feels natural and fun to you and no one else!
Elopements & Micro-Weddings
What exactly is the difference?
The main difference between a micro-wedding and an elopement is the number of guests invited. I personally allow up to 25 people at the elopements I help plan and photograph, and consider anything between 10 and 25 people to be a micro-wedding.
I don’t believe your budget should be dictated by the number of guests you invite, which is why my elopement and micro-wedding packages are priced the same.
Throughout my website, I mostly use the term “elopement,” but I personally define “elopement” as having up to 25 guests and consider micro-weddings the same thing.
Micro-Weddings
Usually taking place at a more easily accessible location (such as a State Park), and can include up to 50 people.
Elopements
Typically more adventurous, fewer to no guests, and often celebrated in rugged mountain locations with few to no guests present.
Can’t decide between an adventurous “Just-Us” experience and celebrating with your loved ones?
You can have both! Let me explain…
I get it. This is an important day, and deciding to celebrate all on your own isn’t the right choice for everyone. But at the same time, an adventurous wedding just feels like you, doesn’t it? But you don’t have to compromise on your family values to have a personal, adventurous elopement! That’s why I built my packages around having enough time to do both.
With a full-day or multi-day package, you have enough time to include your family in the celebrations. You can spend the day getting ready together, have a formal ceremony, share your first dance as husband and wife surrounded by your families, and then venture off to your own adventure. You’ll have time to share private vows where you can be more vulnerable because no one is listening except your partner, you can hike to an epic viewpoint, and have an intimate picnic dinner, or whatever feels like the best way to celebrate to you.
