Meet Your Wyoming Elopement Photographer & Experience Guide

Hey there, I’m Tiana!

Sure, my main title is “elopement photographer”, but taking photos is only part of what I do. My number one goal is to be a blessing to you so that you can have a wedding experience that’s so incredible you can’t sleep at night in anticipation, not one you’re waiting to be over.

Think of me as your guide to your dream elopement. As a photographer who specializes in helping couples elope in Wyoming, I’ll walk you through everything you need to plan a day so amazing that when it comes, you never want it to end. And of course, I’ll photograph every beautiful moment of it.

Providing you with so much more than just elopement photography

Planning a wedding of any size can be overwhelming. Trust me, I know, because I’m not just a photographer but also an elopement experience planner. I want to help alleviate as much stress as possible so you can enjoy every step of your elopement journey.

Here’s what you get when we Work Together:

  • Location recommendations for every part of your elopement, completely customized to your specific desires for your day.
  • A custom timeline to put all of the fun together in a cohesive plan.
  • An ordained minister (that’s me!) to sign your marriage license.
  • A mix of candid and guided photography to beautifully document every memory from your elopement.
  • And more!

Here’s how Eloping with Me Works

As someone who helps couples plan elopements professionally, I know just how overwhelming it can be. Even an all-inclusive package can be challenging to find the right fit. With me, you get the ease of an all-inclusive package with the customization of doing it yourself. Except you’ve got me to help! And here’s how it works…

First, I get to know the two of you and your vision for your dream elopement

Beginning with your free consultation call, to the first questionnaire I send you after you book, until your elopement day, my focus is on getting to know you as individuals so that I can serve you in a personal way. No two couples have the same story, the same vision, or the same elopement day. That’s why all of the resources, guides, and recommendations I provide are custom-tailored for each couple.

Then, I Help You Plan every part of your day

I’ll send you personalized location recommendations for every part of your day, provide step-by-step instructions for getting your marriage license, help you apply for your permit (if needed for your location), and organize your day in a stress-free timeline to make planning a breeze! Plus, I’m always a phone call, text, or email away to answer any questions that come up at any time.

You two get married and celebrate while I document every last detail

While I focus on photographing the majority of your elopement day through candid photos, I will guide you through poses as needed throughout your day, so you never have to wonder, “Do I look okay?”

You and your photos will look amazing!

You Get Your Elopement Photographs to Keep Forever

Every image will be carefully edited in my signature true-to-life style and delivered to you digitally to keep forever. That way, you can always keep the memories of your day close by.

“Thanks, Tiana, for capturing our special day so perfectly!”

“Tiana was great to work with from the very beginning. She helped with a lot of planning for our Yellowstone elopement and had a ton of great suggestions and ideas. Everything she did made our wedding day perfect – scouting out locations, weather updates, flexibility, creativity, great with our family and friends, etc. We received sneak peak photos within 12 hours of our coverage ending and they were exactly what we were hoping they’d be. We’re so excited to see the rest! Thanks, Tiana, for capturing our special day so perfectly! Can’t wait to make it back out west for another session :)” ~Jaime & Cody

Can you elope and Still Include Your Family?

You absolutely can!

As someone who can’t imagine getting married without my family by my side, I know how important it is to share this day with your loved ones.

I also understand the struggle of deciding between an adventurous elopement and doing something that includes your loved ones.

You don’t have to choose between adventure and family. You can have both.

Whether it’s a multi-day elopement or celebrating with your loved ones at a reception on a later day, or bringing them along for the full adventure.

You can absolutely choose both adventure and family.

And I can guide you through the entire journey.

This day is first and foremost about you.

Every decision in the planning process and every moment of your elopement day is 100% up to you. I’ll guide you and make suggestions, but the most important thing to me is that you two have the best day ever!

And while photos are important, I believe that your experience comes first, and I’ll never make your elopement feel like it’s one long photoshoot. That’s why I prioritize giving you time and space to celebrate without the pressure of a photographer constantly following you around.

Frequently Asked Questions about Eloping in Wyoming

Is it easy to elope in Wyoming?

Wyoming is a fairly straightforward state to elope in. You will need to acquire a marriage license, which can be used the same day you get it, and you will need two witnesses and an ordained officiant to sign your license. You can learn more about planning an elopement in Wyoming with my full guide.

How much does a Wyoming elopement cost?

Most couples spend between $8,000 and $16,000 on their elopement, with the majority of their budget going toward a photographer. You can spend as much or as little as you want on your elopement, depending on the kind of experience you want.

Where is the best place to elope in Wyoming?

Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are the most popular places to elope in Wyoming, but there are other beautiful locations to choose from, depending on the kind of experience you want to have. I provide all of my couples with custom location recommendations based on what you want your day to feel like. You don’t have to know an exact location before you reach out, because I can help you narrow it down.

What do you need to get married in Wyoming?

To get married in the state of Wyoming, all you need is your marriage license, an ordained minister, and two witnesses to sign your license. I’m ordained and can sign your marriage license if you want to keep your day simple. I’ll also walk you through everything you need to get your marriage license. Check out my full guide to eloping in Wyoming for more information.

Can we elope and still bring family & friends with us?

Absolutely! This is an incredibly important day, and for some couples it wouldn’t be complete without their loved ones by their side. I love working with couples who want to bring a handful of their closest relationships with them on their elopement day!

When is the best time of year to elope in Wyoming?

June through September is generally the best time to elope in Wyoming, unless you’re looking for a magical winter experience, then January or February will be the best time. July and August are going to be the warmest and driest times of year; however, the shoulder seasons are great because there will be more wildlife.
