I’m that girl who spends every weekend out hiking then complains about having no time to relax, who is already planning her next trip while still on the current trip, and is always down for trying something new.
As an elopement photographer, I get to put my passion for telling meaningful stories to use and combine it with my love for creating beautiful things. I want to document your story, your love, and your personalities in beautiful images that you will cherish forever.
I’m also here to help you plan every part of your day, research locations, be your personal tour guide, and be your adventure bestie to create a day that is custom tailored to you. All in addition to documenting your elopement through nostalgic, cinematic photographs.

One of the first things I recommend you do is find an elopement photographer to work with because they can help with so much of your planning! I also recommend you find someone who is either local or is familiar with the area you want to elope because they will be able to provide you with inside tips like the best time of day for portraits, the best view points, and even the best food around!

Obtain Your Marriage License and Any Necessary Permits
After you’ve decided on a location, you’ll need to research the are to see if any permits are needed. Make sure to check with your elopement photographer, they should be able to help you with this part of the process!
You’ll also want to come up with a plan for obtaining your Washington marriage license. Washington state has a 3 day waiting period once you receive your marriage license before you can use it.
How to Get a Washington Marriage License
You and your partner will need to complete a marriage application either in person or via mail with a Notary Public present.
Here’s what you need to get your Washington Marriage License for your Elopement:
Approximately $72 in cash
Proof of identity and age. This can be a current drivers license, state-issued identification card, passport, or birth certificate
Plan Your Washington Elopement Day
This is the really fun part, you get to plan your elopement day! After you decide on the main events, like your ceremony and if you’ll be celebrating with any guests, you can fill the rest of your day however you want! This can be with traditional activities like your first dance together and a cake cutting, or something a little more adventurous like going hiking or taking a helicopter ride together. It’s all up to the two of you and how you want to celebrate being married!
